Digital Communicator Wanted for the Swedish Board of Agriculture
We are looking for a digital communicator for an assignment at the Swedish Board of Agriculture in Jönköping.
- Scope: Full-time 100%
- Start: 2026-02-01
- Duration: 2026-12-23
You will be employed by Poolia but will work at our client's location in Jönköping.
About the Position
On July 1, 2026, new regulations will come into force for aquaculture in Sweden. The biggest changes will affect mollusk and algae farming as well as smaller fish farms, which will now be assessed by municipalities instead of the County Administrative Boards and Environmental Courts.
Municipalities need guidance, new knowledge about the industry, and the opportunity to share experiences and knowledge among themselves in various networks. The Swedish Board of Agriculture will develop a digital contact point for municipalities with guidance and training on aquaculture and supervision/control during 2026, as well as create digital training for municipalities aimed at spreading knowledge about the industry, regulations, and environmental impact.
Your Main Responsibilities
The Swedish Board of Agriculture needs a digital communicator who will:
- develop www.svensktvattenbruk.se (http://www.svensktvattenbruk.se) in SiteVision as it will serve as a digital platform.
- create and be responsible for a communication plan.
- assist in developing online training.
- write articles for the web.
Work in Teams and Zoom to invite and be technically responsible for conducting webinars.
The tasks above are examples of the scope of the assignment. It is not an exhaustive description of all the tasks to be performed but should be seen as examples of the needs of the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
Who Are You?
To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- at least five (5) years of work experience in a similar role.
- good knowledge of digital communication and social media.
- knowledge and experience in web publishing tools (Sitevision, etc.).
- knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Matomo, Piwik Pro, Siteimprove, etc.).
- knowledge of optimization and development of digital channels.
- knowledge of usability and accessibility for digital channels.
- good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
- ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
- ability to express oneself clearly and be confident in writing own articles for the web.
- experience from public sector work and understanding of the requirements for being impartial, clear, and able to tailor communication efforts to different target groups.
- experience with Teams and ability to invite and be technically responsible for webinars.
- experience in producing and editing videos as well as working with subtitling and other accessibility adaptations.
Regarding Reference Assignments:
You should be able to provide two (2) reference assignments:
- One (1) assignment demonstrating knowledge and experience in web development.
- One (1) assignment demonstrating knowledge and experience in film production, editing, and publishing.
